About Chef Gail WallisMy family knew I’d always be interested in food when, at age 6, I went into my mother’s kitchen and quizzed her on whether she was using ”the proper ingredients” in her recipe. They laughed, and knew I was hooked! Working in my parent's Mom N' Pop restaurant developed my cooking skills, and piqued my interest in nutrition and providing good service. During college I pursued a degree in nutrition and home economic education. After teaching health, I became a full time homemaker, raised our two children, and lived throughout the US, Europe and Asia. For years, others have complemented my wonderful cooking and presentation. To formalize my training, I earned my Chef, Chef of Wine Arts, and Sommelier certificates. My career as a Personal Chef gives me a chance to apply all I've learned from nutrition, teaching, motherhood, and world cuisine. I love to cook and create. Let me show you my best! |
